Demian Dunkley was born in the US, went to school in England, and went to work in Italy. He has spent an equal amount of time in each country, and has therefore grown up with a natural sense of the similarities as well as differences between these three cultures. From a young age he became interested in Italian buildings and during summer breaks he worked alongside several building teams, learning the ancient crafts of traditional Italian construction.

Later, after a few years of Humanitarian and Public Service Projects, Demian and his wife Yumiko returned to Italy to work with his father, Anthony Dunkley. Over the course of several years, and with the help of a dedicated team of project managers, they helped to form what has now become one of the most successful and noteworthy restoration project management companies in Italy.
